Hey, just so you guys know, nothing on my website should be taken as medical advice. Please talk to your doctor or physio therapist before trying anything. This blog post is for entertainment purposes only.
As most of you know I am recovering from an ACL surgery (2.5 months from date of this writing).
My physio therapist has just allowed me to start doing light athletic drills.
This morning I had a client and we did some biking together.
After our workout I came home and did this light BJJ in home workout.
It was really simple and consisted of only 2 drills (guard passing and technical get-up).
I did 100 repetitions of each (50 per side).
It took me about 10-20 minutes. I got a bit of an endurance benefit from doing such a high repetition range.
Obviously going to the gym and training with real humans is way better but since I can’t do that yet this will keep me in shape. These drills also help me regain some of my athletic movement.
If you have any questions or comments please post them below. Hope you are having a good day!
