Kai Greene is a professional body builder. He is ranked #2 in the world behind Phil Heath.
Kai Greene is an inspiring person because he grew up in foster homes/homeless and came out of poverty (having very little resources) to becoming one of the best athletes in the world at his sport.
He has a series called “Train with Kai” where he helps train and inspire people.
Here are some things I learned from watching one clip of Kai:
Kai Greene on using visualization while training
While working out you should be using your mind as much as your body. Picture the desired end result in large full color screens in your mind. It will help direct the body towards achieving that end goal.

Don’t Load the Bar Up
Sometimes you have to lower the weight and do the exercise with perfect form. Loading the bar up with too much weight (that you can’t handle with perfect form) is wrong because: you won’t use the muscles you want to use, and you are increasing your chance of getting injured.

Kai Greene “How far you go – is up to you”
This whole speech that Kai gives the young man is incredible. Very motivating.
The main point is that what you accomplish is up to you. It doesn’t matter what someone says because they don’t know YOU. Only you know yourself and your thoughts.
What you go on and accomplish in sports is determined by what YOU THINK and DO.
